The Japan Business Trip Training Program, 2026 was conducted with the aim of deepening participants’ understanding of operations in Japan and developing personnel who can play active roles as future managers and leaders of YDA Vietnam.
During this business trip, participants visited the head office and Ganko Architecture Co., Ltd., and participated in meetings and site visits at several factory construction projects. The visited sites included both Japanese traditional and system-built construction methods, allowing us to observe various stages of construction, from foundation work to completed projects.
Although our daily responsibilities mainly involve drafting and BIM modeling, visiting actual construction sites enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of construction details, building assemblies, and construction methods that are often difficult to fully comprehend through drawings alone.
What impressed us most was that construction was not carried out merely according to the design drawings. Instead, project stakeholders continuously discussed and coordinated with one another while taking site conditions and constructability into account in order to achieve better solutions. Through these experiences, we once again recognized the importance of communication, reporting, consultation, and teamwork.
We were also deeply impressed by the high level of technical expertise and construction management capabilities demonstrated in projects where renovation and reinforcement work was carried out while factories remained in operation, minimizing the impact on clients’ business activities.
Moving forward, we will apply the knowledge and perspectives on design and construction gained during this trip, as well as the practical experience acquired on-site, to our daily work. We will strive to expand areas of collaboration, enhance the technical capabilities and quality of our team, and contribute to smoother cooperation and project execution between Japan and Vietnam.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for being given such a valuable opportunity to learn and grow through this business trip.
